SeeStJohn.com was founded by Gerald Singer all the way back in 2007. Gerald first came to the U.S. Virgin Islands in 1969. He’s worked as a fisherman, villa rental manager, and as captain for boat charters.
As an expert in all things St John, Gerald Singer wrote one of the most popular books about the island: St John Off The Beaten Track, which you can buy on Amazon. Like this website, it offers a local experts guide into all the hiking trails, beaches, and attractions you can find in St John. It’s easy to read and includes quite a lot of details about different flora, marine, and animal life.
There is also an app he developed called St. John Off the Beaten Track you can download on the app store.
As the site has grown, SeeStJohn.com is run by a larger team now. You can find the same expert guides on hiking trails, beaches, hotels, and everything you will want to know before you visit Saint John.
