Orchids

Orchids in bloom in my garden – April 16, 2013

This Orchid has only boolem twice in the 12 years that I’ve had it

My garden is almost entirely native plants, troublesome exotics like Wild Tamarind have been painstakingly eliminated (almost)

Small native orchid, grows in harsh dry sunny windy locations and loves it

  1. Very nice, Gerald. That orchid that only bloomed twice in 12 years…I probably would have thrown it out thinking it was dead! Good thing you’re its gardener and not me! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Can’t throw them out. They’re rooted firmly to several trees. Lot’s of vegetation, but rarely produces flowers.
