Trunk Bay, St. John USVI

Trunk Bay Overlook

Trunk Bay is the jewel of St. John’s Virgin Islands National Park. It’s got it all, incredible beauty, facilities, lifeguards, underwater snorkel trail. And if you would like to experience Trunk Bay, practically deserted and without paying a fee, just arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon. See Trunk Bay – Google Map

I’ve seen that overlook so many times — yet every time I stop there I can’t help but take the same exact picture. I wonder if anyone has taken any from other angles… or if there are any other overlooks of Trunk. Also, every time I see the picture I think of that pirate key from Goonies where the holes line up with the islands. :)

Check out the cover of “St. John Off the Beaten Track” for another perspective of Trunk Bay.
